Who We Are
Mohr-Avidan Landscape Architecture has provided expert level design since 2001. We specialize in designs for private clients, homes, penthouses in Israel and abroad. Our firm was one of the first in the country to raise awareness to the necessity to include landscape plans as part of the holistic design of residential projects. That is why we get involved right from the initial planning stage, aiming to guarantee that the outdoors are equally considered to create a meaningful dialogue between the home and the yard. We aspire for any project we enter to be tailored to the client's dreams and requirements, while fully utilizing the location's potential. Only a true combination of these two elements can take the project to amazing and surprising heights.
Our Process
When we take on a new project, we open up a dialogue with the client, the architect and especially with the location itself. The plan we come up with collaboratively dictates the garden's character and atmosphere. Following he initial plan, we prepare detailed plans for the landscape while giving ample attention to the existing architectural elements. We choose the best possible materials, design each detail and carry out the planting scheme, while closely supervising the project and the specialists in implementing the plans with the highest level of workmanship. Choosing plants is done during the planning phase, selected to serve as functional elements rather than being merely a decorative afterthought. After planning and implementation, we closely follow the project for about a year and make sure our clients are satisfied, the plants are growing as intended and the entire garden is receiving the care and maintenance it deserves.
Our Vision
We believe that landscape architecture, even for private homes, is about to take a massive step forward. It will take into consideration the region in which we live, the Mediterranean climate, the limited water resources and growing environmental awareness. This change is a complete revolution. It entails changes in the way we view gardens, choice of plants and styles. Our dream is not to dictate these changes but to find an echo of them in future projects.
